    History of the Partizan brand

     

    Partizan is a European brand focused on security technologies. It was founded in 2008 and grew from a family project into a global brand that today has its headquarters in Prague and sales representation in ten countries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The brand's first headquarters was in London (United Kingdom) , but thanks to rapid expansion, regional offices, warehouses and development centres were established in Europe, the countries of the former CIS, in the Middle East, Asia and Africa . Today Partizan products are installed in more than 60 countries .

    The brand’s development reflects its motto: not to follow trends, but to predetermine their development. Thanks to its own research centre in Eastern Europe (with more than 100 employees) the company develops hardware and software itself and can thus offer innovations that competitors are only now catching up with . The brand also became famous thanks to its participation in major projects – for example, in the construction of a camera system for the fan zones of the UEFA EURO 2012 football championship in Kyiv .

    Partizan was founded with the aim of making professional security technologies accessible to a wide range of users. When top technology costs a lot of money, we do not regard that as a success; when it is cheap but unreliable, it is not a solution. Therefore our main principle is the ratio “best value for a reasonable price” . We put quality above quantity and do not lower our standards just to compete on price.

    What we manufacture and develop

     

    Camera systems (IP and analog)

     

    Under the Partizan brand, modern solutions are created for IP video surveillance and AHD (analog) surveillance. We offer a wide range of cameras from compact cloud cameras for home and small business use to powerful SH series for medium and large projects:

    • Cloud Series: affordable IP solutions that allow full remote access to system settings and are ideal for smaller installations .

    • SH Series: high‑performance IP devices with ONVIF support, compatibility with the US law NDAA, an optional certificate of origin (important for government tenders) and the ability to handle projects with hundreds of cameras .

    • AHD cameras and hybrid recorders: suitable for expanding existing analog systems or for projects with a limited budget .

    • Access control systems: a full range of IP controllers, readers, biometric panels, accessories and facial recognition systems .

     

    Software and cloud services

    • Partizan app & Partizan ACM: free software for Windows, Linux, macOS and mobile applications (Android and iOS) that enables live monitoring, playback, push and email notifications and basic system management . The app is available in 26 languages and has received a rating of 4.7 ★ from more than 9 000 users .

    • Partizan ACM: professional SQL‑based software for managing access control systems free of charge .

    • Partizan Cloud: a service for secure recording and storage of video recordings in the cloud. It allows flexible plans from 7 days of recording up to 2 years of archiving in high resolution , supports integration of third‑party cameras or recorders via the RTSP protocol and H.264 codec . Thanks to Plug & Play technology, no public IP address is required; a camera can be added by scanning a QR code or serial number .

    • Partizan NIP (NoIP) Service: a free service for remote access to the web interface of DVRs or IP cameras via the serial number. It removes the need for a static IP address or DDNS services and does not require complex port configuration – it works thanks to UPnP .

    Interesting projects and achievements

     

    During its operation, Partizan has been involved in a number of significant projects. We have selected several that best illustrate the scope of our capabilities:

     

    Protecting 270 gas stations in Oman (2023)

     

    In 2023 we obtained a contract to equip 270 gas stations of the company Al Maha Petroleum in the Sultanate of Oman with modern cameras . We installed rugged bullet cameras IPO‑VF5RP and dome cameras IPD‑5SP‑IR from the Starlight Cloud series with a resolution of 5 MP, a varifocal lens and IR illumination of up to 100 m . For recording we used the professional NVR NVH‑1622 PRO, capable of simultaneously recording up to 16 channels in resolutions of 8/5/3/2 MP and with a storage capacity of 16 TB . The project was carried out in cooperation with the local partner Advanced Galaxy for Tech and contributed to the modernisation of security infrastructure in the region .

     

    Six thousand cameras in shopping malls in Dubai (2022–2023)

     

    In Dubai we completed one of the largest projects in the company's history: the installation of more than 6 000 IP cameras in the seven busiest shopping centres – Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Shindagha, City Centre Fujairah, City Centre Me’aisem and My City Centre Al Barsha . To enter the market of the United Arab Emirates it is necessary to obtain the strict SIRA certification from the Dubai police, which we succeeded in obtaining . This contract has been labelled one of the most important events in our history and confirmed that our equipment is sufficiently powerful, high‑quality and reliable for the most demanding projects .

     

    UEFA EURO 2012 – fan zones in Kyiv

     

    During the European football championship in 2012 we secured the fan zones in Kyiv. Our camera technology was deployed to monitor crowds and to detect security incidents in time . The successful implementation in the then security‑demanding atmosphere opened the door to further large projects.

     

    Partnerships and integrations

    • Strategic partnership with Toshiba Electronics Europe (2021): to make our recording devices as reliable as possible, we equip them with Toshiba S300 and S300 Pro hard drives designed specifically for surveillance systems . The management of both companies emphasised that this is a connection of similar values – innovation, reliability and customer support .

    • Partnership with the British firm Fenix Monitoring (2021): thanks to this partnership customers in Britain can use alarm monitoring with the integrated Partizan Cloud; they also receive a month of monitoring and cloud storage free of charge . Fenix guarantees a fast connection and cooperates with a number of security companies, which confirms the quality of our solutions .

    • Membership in ONVIF: Partizan is an official member of the ONVIF organisation, which creates standards for interoperability in the field of IP camera systems .
